Who is ASA ?
ASA is an emerging startup founded by two entrepreneurs on Batam Island, just south of Singapore. We’re passionate about delivering top-quality language courses to students, professionals, and companies across the region. Right now, you can find us on Facebook at asastudycenter.com.
We stand out from the crowd by committing to a modern design language that reflects our ideas as a professional training partner. But here’s where you come in: we need talented designers like you to help bring our ideas to life.
What is the Design Contest About ?
This contest is your chance to help create ASA’s new corporate design, which will be used everywhere—from business cards to flyers to a refreshed website. ASA is looking for three talented designers from around the globe to join our design team and bring a cohesive, standout look to all parts of our business. In the future, we’ll also have additional design needs for social media, partner programs, and much more!
Who Are We Looking For ?
- You’re a pro with Photoshop and Illustrator.
- You love using Blender to create 3D designs with dynamic effects.
- You’re fluent in English and can communicate your ideas well.
How to Submit Your Designs
Make an account on this portal and check for an activation Email. Than login and share your designs as a screenshot right here in the portal!
Design Submissions
Feel free to add links to your portfolio, social media, or any relevant work that showcases your skills. Use this opportunity to promote your creative talent!
What About Payment ?
If selected as one of the three finalists, we’ll arrange a Zoom meeting to discuss payment terms and project timelines. We’re open to options, whether per design task or a revenue-sharing model. Please note that participation in the contest itself is unpaid.
How the Contest Works
To kick things off, start with a simple design for an A4 flyer (either vertical or landscape). ASA has gathered example designs we like from around the web, which are available in a shared Google Drive folder linked below. You’ll also find our ASA logo in EPS format.

The 4 examples the team likes most. In the folder "More Examples" you see more styles which the ASA team finds to have designs which go into the right direction.
While the examples are inspiring, we’re looking for something unique and better than what’s out there. Think of them as 50% of what ASA envisions. To get to that 100%:
- Play with light and shadow effects for added depth.
- Go beyond 2D - incorporate more 3D elements and effects.
- Experiment with vibrant neon colors for a modern feel.
- Try unique, wave-style shapes to draw viewers in and hold their attention.
So your task is to design a new flyer which meets these new requirements. You can use similar designs you used in the past, as long as they contains the visual elements listed about.
Once done, only post a screenshot of your design, or several if you have multiple similar designs. Do not post any psd files. Thank you ! :)
Contest Timeline
Please submit your design once its ready, a screenshot only is sufficient. The contest will be open until the end of November. You can resubmit as often as you like.

Please keep in mind that judging designs is inherently subjective. If your work isn’t among the top three selections, it doesn’t diminish your talent or effort in any way !
